Deborah was born to a Swiss mother and a Caribbean father. At only 3 years old she composes her first melody and at 6 she sings in the church kid's choir as a soloist. At 15 she goes to France to attend high school and graduates in Literature and Languages, while in her free time she performs at churches, weddings and birthday parties. She also composes her first songs, and later moves to New York City.
During her staying, she works, studies and learns about Newyorkers culture and lifesyle, while she falls in love with american pop music, that shapes up her compositions.
As she returns to her homeland in Switzerland, she records her first album and toures nationwide. She opens concerts for notabe artists like Morcheeba and collaborates with international celebrities such Massive Attack, Gad Elmaleh, Jordan J. Stone, Patty Pravo, Mara Maionchi, TOTO, Eli Paperboy Reed, while receiving recognition and success.
After these achievements, Deborah decides to continue studing. In june 2015 she concludes with a Bachelor thesis on Author's Rights, and obtains her diploma in Communication Sciences at Università della Svizzera Italiana. Music, however, never leaves her, in fact, in January 2013 she participates at The Voice Of Switzerland where she classifies among top 12 candidates. She also performes for corporate events like Nespresso, Raiffeisen Bank, Hublot Polo Cup Ascona, and public events such as Montreaux Jazz Festival, Zürich Stadium, Gampel Festival, Crans Montata Festival, Label Suisse Festival, Théâtre du Léman Genève, Social Theatre Bellinzona, Palazzo dei Congressi, and many more stages. She also performs at fashion shows for Goldwell and KMS Switzerland.
Later that same year she participates at Eurovision Song Contest 2015 with her song Take Me Back To 23 and makes it to the Swiss National Finals. After taking a year off, Deborah rediscover a new faith in God and comes back stronger then ever with her new composition Supreme Love which outlines the beginning of a new chapter in her professional and private life. Later she publishes singles like Miracle, I See You, Move, When A Man and Not Going To, popular on radio stations such as SRF3, Rete Tre, Radio 3i, Radio Life Channel, LFMTV and more.
Deborah has just published her new Album Transition and sang the Swiss National Anthem at The National Finals of Hockey Games on National TV, being the first interracial black female to perform the national anthem in Switzerland.
